Rear door wont open

So Im dropping the kid off at school yesterday and when I went to let her out the back door it wouldnt open. I ended up having to open from the inside. The handle will pull out but Im assuming the cable came un-attatched. Anyone else have this problem?

I've never heard of that before. You're right, sounds as though something is detached. I'd take it in for sure.

I think...

I think he meant that his daughter couldn't open it cause it beening a Titan is a more 'man-ly' truck and thus needed a man to pull that inside backdoor handle

I had the same problem.

The dealership ordered a new handle and fixed it in less than an hour.

I am curious, why would you call a dealership that ordered and fixed a problem with your truck a "stealership"? A dealer that does the job right does not deserve to be lumped in that category.

Did they screw you on anything else or are you simply trying to be funny, something you failed at completely.

I have to agree. My dealer is the best...never a problem and decent pricing to boot.

I thought "stealership" was just a generic term used at TitanTalk to describe all car dealers. (Due to the volume of it's use on this site.)

No, they did not screw me and that's why I did not name them.

I edited my post above and my apologies to any and all car dealers whom I offended.

P.S. I did a search and found the terms "stealer" and "stealership" on 176 threads. (I don't know how many of those overlap.)

I’m not sure if I am picking my fight wisely or not. But I’m bored and want to post something so what the heck! This is how I feel on the term “Stealership” I am happy with the service I have gotten from my dealer. But go in and buy ANYTHING from the “Stealership” and it becomes quite clear what that term means. I spent $24 on a $7 trailering fuse that I could have bought at the trailer depot. Didn’t know it at the time till I went to the trailer depot and asked for the same fuse. Can’t forget the $17 a quart for the synthetic oil change. Forget it I’ll change my own oil. Oh sure you could say, “But that is what dealers do, they mark up.” But I say their mark up is highway robbery sometimes. So I think that the term “Stealership” is appropriate in any sentence because it don’t matter where you are they ALL mark up obscenely in most cases. Do you think I will go to the dealer after my warranty is up? 99% chance I won’t. Will most of the people here go to the dealer after the warranty is up? Not sure but I think I will do a poll on that one.
I can see how some people get offended at the term Stealership. But it’s the truth in my opinion. Sorry I didn't mean to highjack this thread so please, carry on.

Complete failure? That seems harsh to me.

I agree. From now on, we should call them by the correct term... Ankle biters.
