Titan got hit by a paintball! dog gets nailed by skunk!
Ever had one of those days were you wish you stayed in bed? Today was one of those days. As evening approached it was kinda warm here so I asked my GF if she wanted to go get some ice cream. I figured it was a good excuse to take the truck for a drive. Just washed it too. I get halfway down San Ramon valley blvd. and I hear this loud whack sound. I look at my windshield and theres this huge orange blob on it. I knew right away it had to be a paintball. There were too many cars behind me to stop right away so I had to keep driving. I figured whoever did it was long gone by now anyways. So I go to Dairy queen as originally planned. I take this time to check the windshield for cracks. Luckily no visible damage. Then I start thinking that if that shot was a foot further back it woulda hit my dog right in the head. He was hanging his head out the window. At this point I getting myself more pissed off thinking about it. So I ask my gf if she knows where the shot woulda came from. She suggests we drive back down the street we came up just to take a look. As we drive down she sees a couple of bikes up the hill where the shot came from. I haul a$$ up there and see three kids one of em has a bag of orange paintballs. He sees me and tries to hide em behind his back. I lay into em and these kids are scared but refuse to admit anything. So I call the cops an let them deal with it. Besides I was a stupid kid once and I just wanted to scare em. The cops agreed it was a good idea to scare em too. He said unless he witnessed it he couldnt take the kids in. I told em it was ok as I didnt want these kids going to jail anyways. I just want to make sure they understand that they could seriously hurt someone.
So I head home and Dog wants to go out back. I let him out and he takes off like a lightning bolt. I figured he saw a cat or something and go back inside. 10 seconds later I see him rubbing his face in the ground and whining like crazy I'm freaking out at this point not knowing whats wrong. Then the smell hits me and I know he's been nailed by a skunk. I spent an hour trying to clean him up but he still smells a little bit. The house stinks from me bringing him in. Poor little guy is so tired. I have to keep wiping his eyes as they fight off the oil from the skunk spray. What a night. I'm glad its over.

been there and done that, that skunk smell will be there for a while, when your dog gets wet, that smell starts to come out, it will for about 6 months.

Glad to hear you just scared the s#$% out of the kids. Been there before with the dog.

The fact that the evening cost you zero dollars (except for the ice cream).
-Priceless. Stuff happens, luckily it wasn't permanent.

...you should know better than to drive down...
dangerous areas like, San Ramon, Danville, Alamo, Blackhawk...really dangerous neighborhoods, too many rich kids with nothing to do...

At least the kids use paintballs.
Others will use rocks...

Phillip is right!!!
I used to live in Baltimore Maryland. For fun there the kids throw bricks at cars from bridges. I had a buddy that got nailed in the windshield coming home from work one night. The kids got away that time but fortunately no one was hurt.
I remember a few years back some American kids (whose parents were stationed in Germany with the military) killed a German lady by doing the same thing. (We just make friends everywhere we go!  )

We had a couple of kids in our city throw a concrete block off of a bridge recently- went through the windshield and killed the driver. The passenger was the 13 y/o daughter who had to stop the car for her mother. That really sucks, it must have been the worst situation imaginable for that family, especially the daughter. They were coming home from church.....
