Even though there is a small Nissan dealership less than 5 min from my house, I drove 30 miles to a large dealership and bought my Titan.
1) I thought I would get a better deal and service from a larger dealership
2) They had the EXACT truck that I wanted (model,color,options...)
After 5000 miles my brakes were GONE. The judder was really bad, I was almost afraid to drive it anymore. I took it to the dealership where I bought it and they were aware of the problem and put me on a waiting list for the new brakes (this was 5 months ago and they still haven't got to me). Anyway they resurfaced (shaved) my rotors and at 10,000 miles my brakes were really bad again.
I thought I would save myself a drive and give my local dealership a try (this was a few months ago). I explained my situation to them and they asked me if I had my rotors resurfaced already. I said yes I had them done once at 5,000 miles. Thats all they had to hear. TWO DAYS LATER THE NEW PARTS WERE IN AND INSTALLED THAT SAME DAY.
Anyway.......back to the topic. The new brakes work GREAT! New rotors,pads,...everything...both front AND rear (I wasn't expecting the rear).
BUT after a few thousand miles my rear drivers side brake is squeaking and is driving me NUTS. As I drive down the road all you hear is "chirp","chirp","chirp","chirp","chirp"....rea lly annoying at slow speeds. Can't tell at highway speeds.
Took it to the dealership and they sanded the pads and rotors on the squeaking wheel. Worked for one day and the chirp came back. They sanded them a second time and put some kind of lubricant on it and that worked for about a half of a day. Chirp came back.
Went back today and they said the problem is that the new pads Nissan have are a more aggressive pad that has alot of metal in it which is causing the squeak/chirp. They said that there is nothing else that they can do until they talk to Nissan and see what they recommend.
THIS CHIRPING IS DRILLING INTO MY FARKIN BRAIN!!!!
ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM?? Any solutions/advice (besides earplugs)
.....so much for making a long story short

I noticed that chirp while driving but it went away, the brakes do squeak when cold only, and thats just barely noticeable...
I thought that mine would eventually go away also, but it didn't/wont. And mine is more than just barely noticeable. I don't know what else to do. It's only on the one wheel!!??
SOOOOOOOO annoying!!!!!!!! The sound of my intake and exhaust overpower it...but when just cruising around town at low speeds..........chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp
I want to rip my steering wheel off and put my fist through the windshield
Should be such an easy fix..........at least I thought so. AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
About a week and a half with my fix and approx 2500 miles (long 4th of July trip, with approx 900 miles towing a trailer) with no chirping or squeaks so far.

I'm not sure why they would sand the pads and rotors for the chirping problem. A chirping sound usually comes from the brake pad vibrating against the caliper mounting plate. If the guide clips (metal clips that hold the pads inside the calipers) are loose, the pad will move around inside the caliper creating the telltale highpitched sound.
If it's just the one wheel, then examine the caliper and pads. Either adjust the guide clips to fit tighter against the pad or get new ones if necessary. Maybe the dealer accidentally reused the old clips from old pads on that particular wheel when they did the brakes. If that fails to silence the noise, then try some of that brake pad adhesive they sell in small packs at the local autoparts store.
CRC makes some stuff called Brake Quiet that you put on the back side of the pads (not the side that contacts the rotor). I noticed that Nissan's TSB calls for putting brake grease on the backs of the pads. I believe that both CRC Brake Quiet and Nissan's brake grease are intended to avoid the noise referenced by miketan. Another thought is that maybe they never bedded the pads by a series of hard braking & cooling periods.
I changed to Stillen's OEM size rotors & metal matrix pads (using CRC Brake Quiet) and I have no noise.
Just went to Monro Muffler and Brake service for the heck of it. They said my problem was due to a "hard-spot" in the pad. They said there was nothing that could be done except get new pads (dealership wont replace pads until the talk to Nissan). Monro said the squeak will go away after the hard spot wears down.
I dunno, man......this squeak has been hanging around for a while now. I think my pad is one giant hard spot.
I had the brakes done yesterday. This morning when I pulled out of the driveway and went forward to the 1st stop sign (very low speed), only a few feet away, I thought I heard a little squeak. I rolled down my window and went to the next stop sign only a few feet away. Brakes squeaked a tiny bit. Drove down the street a couple hundred yards to next stop sign, no squeak. Next 3 or 4 stop signs or stop lights no squeak.
Coming home later in the day, I listened again, no squeaking.
I did my own brake bedding routine on the way home from the dealer yesterday. The dealer had only put 3 miles on the truck after the brake fix, so I made sure I did a decent amount of brake bedding and then let it sit for 5 hours and did it again. City and highway. I will be taking it pretty easy on them for alittle while till I get them set just right.
I'm not sure there are any perfect pads, you give up something to get something, more metal in pads more noise, some have differnt compounds and produce brake dust.
I don't think this is your issue, but if you look in the Titan manual it says that when the pads are worn out they will make a scraping/squeeking sound indicating they need to be replaced.
