Engine Cover Experiment

Hey everyone, this'll be my first post on here so I thought I'd toss out one my projects I've been working on. I've seen quite a few of you guys on here and clubtitan doing some engine cover work so I thought I'd try some two-tone action on mine. Let me know what ya think.

It looks pretty good. I think I like the texture more than the two-tone.

Good job!

With the color scheme, texture and badges I looks like it ready to zoom.

Will the alterations take the heat generated under the hood?

I must confess that I have not really taken a close look under the hood and should go do that!

Did you use fleckstone to get the texture?

titanse, not sure what fleckstone is, but what I used was rust-oleum stone creations, came out almost like spackle.

I wonder if PML INC. could make a polished one for the Titan? They make valve covers. Maybe a Titantalk member out in their area can stop by and ask them.

Looks great, but is it a high-temp paint?

Nope no hi-temp stuff, personally I dont think it would be necessary. The temp under your engine will never push any extreme tempurature. Time will tell though. I've been keeping an eye on it over the past week with no problems.
