Titan guages are boring

Why is that?? My cousin just bought a Nissan Murano and his dash and guages are much more modern looking and more appealing than the Titan. And the Murano came out a year before the Titan. The Maxima and Altima also have cool looking, telescopic type guages. To me it seems like the Titan guages look VERY dated.

And who came up with the orange color?? Brilliant....(yuck)

I totally agree with you there. I loved the white faced guages on my Maxima. I wish there was some aftermarket kits to change the way they looked and to do something about the Amber Color everywhere. That was one of the reasons why I almost didn't buy the truck. But I figured that could always be changed down the line.

I like the guages in my girlfriends new 05 Altima a lot, except for the amber.

Yeah, I hear you Flux......but you think Nissan would have put a little more thought into these guages. I guarantee they will be updated in the next Titan. The guages in the new Frontier look kind of bland also. Maybe it is a truck thing.

Mabey because the Titan is a truck, and the others aren't............
I bet the Titan dosen't ride as "smoothly" as the Murano, Maxima, or the Altima either for the same reason. Course that's just my opinion.

I think the guages are ok, not great but I am not too pickey. Though I do agee a lot with the color of the lights, I hate the orange!!! And the reflection in the back window (which I know has been beaten to death already) But I would have really liked seeing some green lights at least, though I think that in some of the hondas I have noticed an almost white maybe slight bulueish light dash color I really like, looks very clean and clear.

It's a truck, it's not supposed to be sporty and inspiring. Although I don't care for the steering wheel controls that don't light up at night. It's a pain setting the cruise in the dark

It doesn't have to be so boring, though. Very dated IMO.

I thought that too. Especially since I ride higher than most people and see some cool ones. hopefully the aftermarket will have something "cooler" but not to ricey.

Really? I like them a lot. My Titan is a truck, I would hate all that cleaning and deatailing of the Nissan triple pod set up. The gauges are big and easy to read, me likes, especially the one that goes up to 6,000.

No thanks. Although I had a Ranger before the Titan and never had any problems with it. (Ford guages are kinda lame too)
