Yup, I bought a set of Bilsteins from PrerunnerGreg. I love 'em, they're awesome, especially while towing. Firm, yet compliant (as Greg says, but oh so true). I can't wait to match them up with the Fox coilovers I'll be getting in a couple weeks!

I'm not totally familiar with the 4x2 Off-Road, did your truck come with Ranchos. If so you think the new shocks ride better and still control the weight? I have a 4x4, I don't hate the Rancos but I don't think they're that great either. Thanks.
Chris
Go to www.prerunners.com and you can order them online. Or you could send a PM to Greg at PrerunnerGreg with your name and number and stuff and he'll set you up.

Chris,
Yeah, my truck came with the Ranchos. And the Bilsteins definately handle the weight better. In fact, I find the most benefit comes while towing, and I tow are large load. They are a lot more firm than the Ranchos, but they work better even while unloaded. They are just a better performing shock in all respects. Worth every penny of the $190 I spent on them.
I just ordered a pair of the PRG modified Bilstein 5100s for the rear of my 4x4 with the Off Road Pkg. It doesn't have a lift or leveling at present.
I do plan to get the PRG/Deaver overload leaf spring upgrade, which adds 1.25" to 1.5" lift to the rear, (after I get adjustable coil-overs for the front).
Greg, (PrerunnerGreg), said the Bilstein shocks will work great for both of these applications.

PTGarcia,
Thanks. In the past I've really enjoyed the value of the KYB product. Maybe it's time to try the Bilstiens...
