Can anyone give me an idea of where I can purchase one of these and how much they cost? Also can they be removed easily or do you have to unbolt them? Thanks.

I think they list for over $500 but Everthing Nissan has them listed at just under $500, I bet Jaime at Maroboro Nissan/Nissan Parts 24/7 would quote you an even better deal. http://www.nissanparts247.com/en_US/

Vector, Whats the deal with the rust proofing in your sig? Did you get that aftermarket or is that something I already have? If aftermarket how much $ and wear did you go to get it?

I have a toolbox that is hardly used. If you will split the shipping with me, I will sell it to you for $325. The removeability of the box is very easy. It just slides on the rails and bolts against the cab of the truck. If you have the utilitrack cleats, the wrench that came with them to loosen the bolts is the same needed for the box. All and all it takes about 5 minutes to remove and is very easy to do. E-mail me at ebtate@yahoo.com if you are interested.

i love my (tool) box! even tho no tools are in it, it has been very useful
right now, i use it as storage for stuff i used to keep in my backseat/floor.
i have used it as a cooler before..drain holes in the bottom releases the water.

to remove it, all you have to do is open it up. twist 2 knobs that hold it on the sides, flip a lever to release it from the rear wall of the bed, and it just slides right out.

ebtate, I've read that some of the boxes are level with bed rails some are not. Can you send some pics?

I think zebart is a trade name put I'm not sure who actually applies the stuff and I was curious as to how much he paid to have it done.

I did look up Ziebart (www.ziebart.com) and they have retail locations in the US. They are also known as Ziebart Tidy Car. They do detailing, aftermarket add-ons, spray linings and coatings, etc.

Cool

Taking it out was easy. Putting it back in was a little tough if you're by yourself. You need help to hold it level and slide it back in the utilitrack.

I love mine. I use it constantly - as in, there are tools in it constantly. It is very secure, and very easy to remove. A very well-thought design. It really is 2 nobs and a lever to release it from the truck. Install takes 45min - 1 hour to mount the studs at the back of the bed and the bump guards, and then assemble the rest of the slide nobs that stabalize the box in transit.

It's definately easier to put the box in with two people (to help line it up on the rails), but I've gotten to the point I can do it on my own with a little patience. Pulling the box out on your own is easy.
