Anyone in the Louisiana/Meraux area?(xtreme car audio)

Hi all! I ordered some electronics from a company in Meraux, Louisiana. "Xtreme Car Audio" Has anyone heard of this company??

I am out of state and placed this order about 3 weeks ago, and have nothing but problems. I also reffered 2 other people that are having the same issues

1)Delays in shipping- 3 attempts before receiving bogus tracking#
2)Claims UPS lost our order, But tracking # says only billing info receiving
3)Called UPS and they claim to have no packages receiving with the tracking numbers provided
4)No communication now

Your help and information is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Meraux is a 'burb of New Orleans. Maybe a Titan Talk member in that area can make a phone call for you since you are dealing with time zone and long distance phone call issues.

I am in the northern part of the state, over 300 miles away from Meraux, so a phone call from here would be long distance.

BayouTitan: Sounds good to me, any help at this point can't hurt. I probably will file a claim with my credit card company at the middle to end of the week. It will be closing in on 30 days and i don't want to lose my opportunity for credit.

I have a smiddgen of faith that the seller will come through, but i won't hold my breathe.

Meraux is in the boonies in St Bernard Parish-a very small community-maybe not even a town.They might have had problems because of the 2 storms we had.The 1st one was actually fairly bad,and kinda unexpected.
I have heard their radio ad- for years.."Extreme car audio today" is what they sing!
Post or PM the particulars-name-date-item number-amt paid-Item name etc.Maybe if I give them a local call-and say I will come to pick up the item(I won't of course,but maybe that will shame them into sending it).If you paid by Credit Card(I hope) you are in the clear,and can dispute the charge.
Keep remeinding me of course.I'm sort busy lately,so I might forget.
The bogus numbers-and no answer) etc are very bad signs,of course.Maybe it is just an idiot employee,but maybe they are going out of business and are trying to scrounge a few more bucks on the way out.Charlie

They actually called me minutes ago and they were out of town for the week(emergency). I hope now the ball will be rolling. I will keep you guys posted

There was a ups driver arrested in meraux a couple of days ago. Maybe our products will be found.

Well,that sounds promising.I remember hearing their jingle on the radio for years"Car audio today-Extreme audio"!!
My wife read about the UPS guy.He had a house full of boxes-many unopened.Luck.Keep us posted.Charlie
