Right now gas is 95.9 cents/liter (CDN) where I live and its getting to be little expensive filling the Titan up every week or so. I was going to get a lift with some nice big wheels but now it doesn't seem like a good idea (which pisses me off because I really want to get it lifted). So with gas price constantly rising, at what point would you consider selling/parking the Titan?
Unfotunately - yes. But we also have the armada which is more important as a family vehicle and would keep that for the towing duties and awesome power . Would consider selling the titan and looking for a late model used Audi A4 quattro with the 4cyl turbo. I would need to find AWD and minimum 25mpg to do it though...
Not me, I am keeping mine (gonna need it for winters in Ohio)! We already have an Accord which gets great mileage and my Z gets pretty good gas mileage too. If it gets really outta control, I always have my bike as a backup...

Nope, it's my tow vehicle. I may get a used 4-banger as a commuter but I feel so much better and safer driving the Titan, especially with the kids in it.

Ill get a sportbike before i sell the titan. For all of you who say "yes", just think what your truck will be able to sell for if gas were so high that you wanted to sell. Demand will be low and supply will be high. Too bad we dont have diesel engines, we could brew our own fuel.
here in alaska it's $2.58 per gal for regular unleaded. i wouldn't ever consider getting rid of the titan. i figure if you can afford to buy a $30,000-$50,000 automobile you should beable to afford gas.

No, I spend less on gas now than I did with my previuos vehicle which was an Acura RL 3.5 (that thing required premium, have to fill up twice a week at $35 a pop) Titan, once a week at $50.
Yes, once gas prices reach that $3.00/gal mark my family will probably sell it. That is because we don't really need a truck, we could do without one. For people that really need them I would feel horrible.

Nope. I knew going in that it ate gas. I use it for towing and for my everyday (12 mile) commute. So unless I sell the TT, I'm keepin' er'.

I guess I should've said my answer in a little diffferently-
If gas hits $3.00, then I'll worry about options-maybe a cheap 4 cylinder, or maybe commute with someone-but until $3.00, I'm not even gonna worry...
BTW- Gas is $2.25 p/g here.
Ditto on that. The gas would have to go SKY high for me to get rid of the Titan. First of all, the hit I would take RIGHT NOW would be significant if I tried to sell/trade the Titan. It would be substantially worse if the gas prices went up to $3.00+ (which they may).
I feel I would be better off keeping the truck and getting a 4cyl "beater" for work (1992 Civic, 1989 Golf..etc)

The truck takes basic gas and takes 26 gallons (roughly) at each fill-every 10 days.
The car (T/A) takes premium gas and takes 14 gallons every week.
Guess which one is the better deal to drive $-wise!?
When the fuel prices for basic hit the 3.00 mark across the USA as a whole, the country will see a bigger problem than you can imagine. We had a slow down a few years back but we are still headed for the big bubble burst.
