One Wheeler Pealer

Ive got to post this one
3 days ago i noticed the strangest and funniest thing ever that my truck does.
At low speeds when i punched it one wheel would cut loose on one side then as that tire settled down the other would go crazy. Well i thought that it was a tractions difference but the tires are only a few weeks old and it would do it every time no matte what road it was on.
Well i took it into the dealer and they said it was another electrical problem but not a biggie. Something with the limited slip thing.
The service manager said he got a chance to see it and thought it was one of the most unbelievable things hes ever seen.
I kind of liked it.
But sadly i wont be getting it back till monday becuase the electrical problem messed up the Nav and stereo where the nav cant decide where i am and the stereo turns off and on. All because they didnt replace defective wires when i had the battery incident a while back so they will fix and it will be good for good on Monday. I cant wait!!!!

I tend to bet you'll get it back and it'll be no different (other than the fixed NAV/Stereo thing). The truck doesn't have a true LSD rear...it's all electronic. And it doesn't lock the rear wheels together like an LSD can. It simply uses the ABS circuit to momentarily stop the one wheel from spinning, allowing the other to get power. Once the other wheel then spins, it's done to that side as well..and back and forth. I can't be 100% certain but, what you're describing sounds logical and normal considering the workings of the system. Let us know what happens!

That means nothing to me. Not that he's wrong....because we don't know yet but, most service managers know squat. Just because he's not seen it, doesn't make it abnormal.

"Pegleg" doesn't hop from one side to the other though. W/O the ABLS to interfere, the right rear would just smoke while the other did nothing. I'm now anxious to hear what his dealer has to say about it.
