HELP- Need tire pressure info for 17" OEM Off Road tires

My Titan originally came with the 18" Good Years and the 5-spoke wheels, now I have the 17" BFGs and the 7-spoke wheels. My door jam says 35 psi, that was for the Good Years and they had a max pressure rating of 44 psi.

When I got the truck back yesterday the dealer had 30 psi in the BFGs and I thought that was a bit low. This morning as I was about to put way more air in I noticed the sidewall of the tire says max inflation 35 psi.

What are you guys running?
What does the door jam sticker suggest to run?

For almost a decade I have run the BFG All Terrain T/A KO and if memory serves me they had a max pressure of something like 45 psi. I'm still really surprised to see very low 35 psi on theses BFGs...

Here is why I have the OEM 17" BFGs if interested...
Dealer does the right thing, getting new wheels...

Just looked for you, it says recommended 35psi cold pressure on the 285 BFGs.

Thanks for running out to the truck for me.
I guess I should have no concerns then taking them up to 34-35 cold.

I have the same BFG 285/70/17's and 7 spoke wheels on my 4x4 Off Road SE Armada.

The door jam sticker says 35 psi cold. That's the same as what is printed on the tire sidewall.

I've always run them at 35 on the highway. I air them down a bit when in the woods.

BTW, I'm at 20,000 miles and still have about half the tread left.

35 Psi

I'm at 23K with tread to go. Tires are wearing evenly so I imagine that's the magic number.

I love this place!
How in the heck did we live without forums???

I can't wait for tomorrow morning when I can bring them up to 35 cold. That will be a +5 in each tire, and I know I will feel that. This set up is already WAY BETTER than the 18" and Good Years, I can't believe it is going to get even better.
