I think I have seen a Nissan one, but I don't recall seeing a Titan one. I decided to just get one of these after doing a lot of google searching.

I figured a 3rd brake light way down low was a good thing. My Titan is bright red and I was just not sure how visable the standard brake light is way up high on the back of the cab.

It came with a 4-prong plug and I just picked up a 7 to 4 plug converter and I'm real happy with the solution. Just something else to consider.

Twenty bucks here.

I had one of those also. I switched to the chrome oval Nissan hitch plug. The third brake light is a good idea, but it also flashes when you turn on your right turn signal. I thought that looked kinda dumb and confusing to those behind me.

As my dear old Dad said, "You've got to stop and smell the roses once in a while". He didn't.... I plan to know the smell of them roses intimately.

Okay, you got me on this one, I'll have to go out and check if this is happening to me. You are right, that may not be a good thing...

I bought a reese rubberized plastic one at Wally-world for $6. Need to use the hitch pin though...(despite it having nubs that look like they will lock it in)

You could always cut the connector for the turn signals.

Here's an idea.

Go to Wally World and buy a plain Jane black plastic cover. Then go to a junk yard with the cover in hand and find a wrecked Nissan that has a badge or emblem that you like. Debadge it and see how it looks when held to your cover. Then buy some epoxy glue and glue it to the cover.

You will then have a custom hitch cover that is one of a kind.

You will probably need to find a badge on a Nissan car so that it will be smaller and be the right scale for the receiver plug.

When debadging you won't have to fool with fishing line since you won't be worrying about scratching a body panel on a wrecked car. Just take a thin blade putty knife and hammer and it will come right off.
