How's this deal on an '05 CC SE sound?

I located a smoke '05 CC (built 6/05) about an hour away (north of Boston) for MSRP 35,440 with Big Tow, Off Rd, SE POP w/captains, SE utili bed and mats. Invoice is 31943 they'll discount it another $840 and give me the $2K incentive for a total of $29,100. I've asked them to throw in a sliding bed extended and step rails. Still waiting on what they'll do with the add ons but I doubt they'll give me both. Sounds like they'll give me the bed extender at no charge. I'll be trading an '03 Avalanche z71 w/41k miles. I am looking for $23K on the trade but would take $22K. I owe nothing on the Av. The hold back is $800.
Do I have more room to negotiate? This seems like a fair deal but trade value will be the determining factor.

Thanks in adavnce for any input.

Is it fair? If they were screwing you do you think they'd consider if it were fair! NOOOOOOOOO! =)

Take em for every penny you can. Make the salesman cry.

Yeah, it sounds like a good deal, if you look up edmunds' TMV, but I'd say you can always do a little bit better than edmunds' because that's an average. You got it beat by about a grand. I think there are a few on here whom have struck slightly better deals than that. But maybe they didn't have the OR package. Don't get me wrong, it's a good deal, but, you wanna hear em make the comments of their kids are starving and they're not making a dime, which means, that you should ask for more money off!!! Drive 'em down! Don't take excuses for an answer, take more money off!!!

Thats about $600 cheaper than I negotiated but then I had them throw on foglights $285(a bit since I could have bought them for about $170) and they wouldn't throw them in or step bars so hopefully they do good on the trade thats what made the difference on my deal.
Getting my titan This week

Haha, I do think it is a a very good deal. Don't get me wrong. But I also don't think Id let them make a dime more than they should on it. I'd probably be very happy with that price though, but I'd do what I could try to still get anything I can out of them. =)

Buy It

My 2004 was $1000 less than what you are seeking and I got mine for $30880 after a $1500 rebate. I would go and buy it if you really want it especially if you can get any rebates and low financing if financed.

I got mine at Bancroft Nissan of Auburn. They had a pretty good deal over at fireside in N. Attleboro but they weren't giving me crap for the trade in. Shop around now that you have a price line they'll have plenty of trucks when you get exactly what you want at the right pricepoint

Wink

Looks like a good price. thats what i have. it really is a buyers market now so prices will continue to drop at the end of the model year. it always boils down to getting what you want for a price you are willing to pay while its available this time of year. you have to think about if you want a relationship with the dealer or not. A good relationship with your sales person is a start to that.

You owe nothing on the AV, you have so much leverage on the dealer it's not even funny. Make them sweat it out and get everything that you can get from them. It's a really good deal you have there. TAKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sounds like a good deal on the Titan but I doubt very much that you will get $22,000 in trade on an '03 Avalanche.
