What's the difference in wire colors???

Does anybody know if nissan changed any of the speaker wire colors between the 04's and the 05's? I was able to find the following link for wire colors on tis site, (which is such an awesome site) However it is for an 04..

http://www.directechs.com/directwire...emote%20Start#

I'm going to be brave, altough not recommended by some to install a new alarm and remote start.. Just wanted to know if there was a difference before i start looking for the colors.....

Thanks again for the help

I ordered a sensor from AutoTechs.com and they included a sheet "Directwire Wiring Information" like the one you have, but it says 2005. All the wiring information and colors are the same as your 2004 sheet.

I don't recommend doing what I did, which is trying to add shock sensor to work with the Factory OEM alarm on my 2005 SE KC.

However, if you are trying to find all the door trigger wires, I have a few hints (besides don't do it) after messing with the issue off and on for several days.

Well, i decided to have the guys at circuit city istall it after all. Turns out, the colors as listed in the link above are incorrect on the 05. They had to trace the wired and figure out the colors themselves......

Good thing I didnt do it.

Unfortunately not, when I called to check and see about it's completion, they told me it was taking much longer than expected because the color codes they had were wrong. I told them, HEY!! I got em, they are from Directed website. He said that is what he was using. I was in a hurry to get back to work when i picked up the truck.

Maybe he was making an excuse???? But he seemed honest.

I will have to take it back though because the range of the remote is horrible....I think they but the antenna in a bad spot, so I'll ask then.

It would be great if you can find out. My attempt at the wiring of the door triggers has me wondering if I'm getting them at the right plact.

I went back to circuit city to have the antenna moved, horrible reception, anyways, turns out the installer no longer works there. My truck was the last one he did and he did not write any notes as to colors of wires.

Sorry, that's just my luck, as also my truck got keyed yesterday!

Too bad, but thanks for trying. Those places have a lot of turnover.

Bummer on getting keyed!
