Shops in Denver

Looking for shop recommendations in Denver. I'm going to get a lift. Rancho 4inch with shocks probably. Need to fit in the garage. Also want to keep the rear a inch higher that the front.

Stomper,

Haven't decided where I'm going yet, but I've checked out 2 shops so far. The first was Off Road LTD in Aurora, their pricing was high, and the guy just kinda rounded everything up. Also wanted $1000 for a 6" lift. 4WheelParts in Denver was much more professional, and install price is only $400. I'm looking at going with a 6" fabtech lift, with new wheels and a set of 35's. Still need to check out 1 or 2 more shops.

Hope that helps.

4 wheel parts has a questionable reputation, although I have had good luck with them for my jeep. Another forum you might want to check out is http://www.colorado4x4.com It is dedicated more to the off road crowd, but has some good info on shops etc.

Greg,

Is this the site you ment?

http://www.colorado4x4.org/

4WheelParts said they had done several lifts on Titans, even had one that had the Fabtech kit install sitting there. The install looked good, I didn't see a lot of scratches on the frame, and they had no problem letting me walk around the shop. Still I'll take your advice and look around first, still waiting for my "final" brake fix anyway.

Guys...here's a cut/paste from a thread I started earlier today. Come out and check this out...probably get some great info on products, installation and maybe see some local shops represented....or at least some referrals.

Colorado Titans/Armadas:

4 Wheel Parts Truck Fest will be in Denver this weekend, July 30, 31 at the Denver Merchandise Mart from 10-5, Sat and 11-5 on Sun.

Lots of aftermarket manufacturers on site....10% savings, free admission. Custom trucks on display, product demos, etc.

Also, Ian and Jessi from the Xtreme 4X4 show on Spike TV will be filming an episode. They'll be building "PROJECT PROCOMP PRERUNNER".

Should be fun....I'm gonna try and make it out Saturday.

Rocky,
Thanks for the info on the show, made it up this morning after sitting on I-25 for a freaking hour!! Wife bought stuff for her Wrangler, me………….. Nothing!!

Greg/Stomper,
After reading all I could find on 4WheelParts, I think most of the problems were gear related and seemed to pertain to the Westminster store. That being said I did decide to go with a shop closer to home. ORI in Centennial gave me a sweet deal, and Chris and Paula were great to work with. The Shepard was great to, he just didn’t talk much!!

Cool, I was up there for only an hour or so today. Pretty good show...asked a few questions regarding up and coming products for the Titan. Hypertech guys told me they indeed are developing a Hyperpac for us, even though others here have been told just the contrary. Got to meet Ian and Jessi from Xtreme 4X4 show...they said this show won't air until Jan/Feb '06.

I was up there for awhile on Sunday. They had a nice looking titan lifted, with big exhaust, but I did not buy anything either. I did get the 4wheel parts hitch cover though. Gotta like free swag.
