I had the TSB done about a month ago. It made a world of difference. Most of my driving is at 20 mph or less, so I don't get much air flow going over the coils. When I did take the truck on the highway, the A/C work well.

I had them order all of the parts on the tsb and my scheduled day for the install is this coming friday....I found out the hard way in Vegas...we were actually sweating in standstill traffic while my display on the rear view mirror said 118 degrees.

Just got home from the dealer ....it was their very fist A/C TSB installation....took them 2.5 hours . Considering what they had to replace and reprogram I considered it a pretty good time. I cant really test it today because it's only 68 degree's out , but it does feel cooler at idle and seems to hiss a lot less ?

The parts for my a/c tsb came in. It is a fan clutch, and the elcetric fan that is in front of the condenser, that can bee seen when looking through the bottom of the grille.
I dont see how anything other than the reprogram can help???
maybe the clutch engauges at a cooler temp (therefore cooler engine idel temp), and the electric fan pushes more air?? I doubt it though. The electric fans look identical.
