Backup Sonar

At first I thought the backup sonar was somewhat frivolous. I'm beginning to like it, especially now that the ARE tonneau blocks another 4" or so of my rear view. It seems to be accurate and sensitive. It even beeps when our cat walks behind the truck. Not that I would be distressed about backing over the cat, it just proves how well it works.

The backup sensors are one of those things that I wouldn't have chosen but it was on the Titan that my dealer found. Now I'm very glad I have it. The only thing better is the backup camera on my wife's '05 Honda Odyssey.

Ditto. I wish they had them on the front now, too! The Titan's front is pretty high, and I can't yet always tell where to stop in a parking space. Being so long, you don't want your Titan's butt hangin' out the back of the space. But, you also don't want the nose hangin' out the front.

9 times out of 10 I back my Titan in just for that reason. I'm sure ill get better at gauging it, but I have only had it for 3 weeks.

I'm same as Heckler.. I always try to reverse park just because I have the sensors so I know I'll get a better park.
