Titan vs. Deer
Wound up being a tie... the deer actually rammed into the rear drivers side and I saw him get up and keep going...
Here's the damage:   1800 bucks total damage... $50 deductable.  |

Bambi lives to die another day....
 Mmmm...deer jerky.  Good thing you hit him on the side, instead of head-on....could've been much worse...for everyone. I've had many a close call with deer...been lucky, so far.

I think that deer must have been drinking... Last I checked they dont even get any points for hitting trucks in the side.

I didn't see any more (short grassed area with hills on either side). The other car took off... so did I.. I happen to glance in my side mirror only to see a deer full boar hitting my truck... lol! I jumped out of my seat! I didn't see any damage to the fuel tank or tires, so kept on trucking and called my insurance company... lol... Kinda needed a buffin anyhow... the side panel is getting replaced (as well as the plastic), the passenger door is getting work done, and the tailgate is getting all redone. All at the local Ford dealership! I told him "parts are probably backordered" and he replied "actually, Nissan is a lot better than Ford when it comes to that." I told him he must not have dealt with a Titan yet.. lol... those parts are always on backorder. |
