Question sulphur smell

I've noticed a sulphur smell when I'm getting out of the truck (after I turn it off). Is this normal?

With a join date of Sept 2004, I assume your truck is not new? Have you had the catcon (catalytic converter) replaced for some reason? Have you changed fuel suppliers recenty? I would tend to suspect fuel if your truck is not new, or does not have a new catcon.

I haven't had it replaced. I noticed the smell for a while. I generally use the same gas. My truck is not new. Could some thing be wrong with the catcon?

I would try another station. With the refinery shut downs for the hurricanes their supplier may have gotten crude oil from a different source. If you have other vehicles, is it happening with them also? I had the same thing happen a few months ago on all three vehicle, all using the same station. Needless to say I switched brands, gas mileage also went down on the tanks of high sulpher gas.

You may want to check your undercarriage for a stuck plastic bag. Those REEEEEK! My wife got a bag wrapped around the muffler of her car 3 weeks ago. I tried scrapping it off, but it was melted on pretty good. It still has a faint odor.

Take it in and have your rear end checked out(the trucks), I didn't have a sulfer smell it was more like propane/gas smell, but smell is objective. Mine smelled really bad and they enede up replacing the rear end with a new 05' assembly
