Does ANYBODY have a Titan service manual?

I would love to know what the manual says is required to change the rear differential input shaft seal.

I'm mostly concerned about pressing the new seal in. Does the pumpkin need to go into a press thus removing the rear axle from the truck, or will this be done on the vehicle with a hammer and a piece of wood?

Here is my situation, and at 1,500 miles I ain't too thrilled...

No, you don't need a press. BFH with a block of wood will work fine. I'm assuming you're talking about the front oil seal, and it can be removed while on the truck.

I'll post some pages from the manual in just a second.

BTW, it's obviously the same with or without the e-locker.

Removing and reinstalling seals in just about any piece of equipment, Vehicles, etc is pretty straight forward and one of the easiest procedures to undertake. That is if you have the right tools. The trick is to make sure the new seal goes in perfectly straight with the bore. Most often some type of tool is used to do this. On my old tractors etc I can usually find the right size of PVC pipe to get them started straight and drive them in.
I see no need to take the diff. out of the truck to do such an easy job.

Holy crap!

You guys continue to amaze me, MANY THANKS!!!

This is great news, I'm so glad we are talking BFH and a block of wood for install and a simple puller for the removal. With luck then the dealer can actually do this job in one day.

I'm sure this seal is my issue, I just wish it had lasted for more than 1,500 miles...
