Got some new shoes

Well, sort of...I finally got some energy to paint the spokes black. I never was into the chrome thing...I'm more into a sport look.

Ooh! I've been waiting to see what black rims look like on a smoke Titan. Post pics.

Thanks. The wheels were chrome and I painted the center black.

Those look swell! Sorry...watched too many episodes of 'Leave it to Beaver' as a kid! But really...they do look swell! Nice job on the DIY paint job...looks professional.

Black rims on a dark grey vehicle always look classy.

I think it really makes the overall smoke color look brighter and warmer because there's less contrast than there was with the shiny rims.

That's giving me some ideas about my smoke Titan ...

Did you just paint the chrome? If so I wouldn't expect it to stick long.

Yeah, me neither! However, I came across this adhesion promoter that's supposed to work on chrome. I tried it out on some spare parts and it actually works great! It makes the paint stick to chrome like it does on wood.

Very nice. I'm going to go the same route with my smoke titan.

Once I get the funds, and need new tires, I will get my OR 17" wheels powder-coated black.

LETS SOME PICS OF THE WHEELS MOUNTED!

I only have 2 wheels done. I've put about 3 hours work into each wheel and my hands are hurting. These spokes are a pain to work on.

BTW, thanks for the insight...I've got a couple more questions to shoot at you.
