Question Tire pressure sensors

Questions: I have an '04 Titan SE with the 5-spoke alloy wheels. I was able to buy a set of chromed 5-spoke factory wheels off of eBay. Do all Titan wheels have the tire pressure sensor, or only the alloy wheels? Also, do the sensors come off of the wheels so I can transfer them from my alloy wheels to the chromed ones? And finally, how are they removed from the wheels? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I know that all 18" wheels and the 17" Off Road wheels have the sensors and I think that the 17" steel XE wheels have them too.

The pressure sensors are little boxes that are connected directly to the valve stem, so when you have your wheels swapped, they just have to move your sensors to your new wheels. When looking at your valve stem, you will see a nut on each one. Just unscrew it and the sensor comes right out, then they can be moved.

You should be very happy with the look of the chrome wheels on your truck. They look more like they belong on the SE/LE than the silver does. BTW, what color is your Titan? Everyone's definitely gonna want to see pics when you get them installed.

Tire pressure sensors

Thanks for the reply. It was very helpful. My truck is a Smoke 4WD King Cab. I'll post pictures when I get the wheels and Bushwhacker fender flares installed. Thanks again.
