Ok, I was totally prepared to chastize you at giving your TITAN to Toyota in a head to head competition to show Toyota winning, but then realized that you were just filming the commercial...
Well, that's right where the Toyota should be....behind the Titan...lol! I imagine you had to go pretty light on the pedal so the Tundra could keep up! I wonder what Toyota would think of you filming their commercial using a Titan...there's some irony in there somewhere, for sure. Thanks for the pics!

Hi guys! The film crew was gonna rent a regular U-Haul truck to film the Tundra, but since I had my truck, I suggested we use my Titan and have them give me the $100 rental for the 30 min. use of my truck.
I thought it was funny so I decided to take some pics. Toyota reps were not around since we where the 2nd Unit in charge of filming driving through a tunnel in Santa Clarita California. Toy Reps would be on another set filming a Tundra getting large objects like a fridge get dropped on it as part of a gag for the commercial.
Blue Tundra was the one taking a beating by falling objects. Wonder how it can support all that stuff falling on it? Movie Magic! Nah, the hood, roof, and glass was reinforced.
Jaimster is your career in filming commercials or that like a side thing. I think its really cool and was interested in what kinda schooling you did (if any) or how you got involved? Also heres a question a little outta left field, who is the guy driving the tundra? Somebody from toyota? I always wanted to be the guy who drove the cars in all the cool commercials and advertisement films and never knew who to talk too. Thanks!

I have a BA in Cinema and therefore work in the film industry. I only work on Commercials and Music Videos. I'm working my way into being a Camera Tech, but the way I started, I was an intern working for free as a Production Assistant.
The guys that drive picture cars such as the Tundra in this situation are driven by precision drivers. These guys are actors that I guess are very experienced and or professional race car drivers or stunt drivers....yeah, they have a great gig! I guess you just have to have some kind of pro driving background to get this kinda job.
