Price Increases Stiff On Some Models

According to a recent release of Nissan's pricing structure for the 06 Titans, they are making some stiff increases in the retail prices.
05 XE CC $22,950
06 XE CC $26,100

05 SE CC $25,100
06 SE CC $27,900

05 LE CC $29,550
06 LE CC $32,700

I am aware that these are base model pricing for 2WD trucks but it does privide a base line across the board to the increases in the trucks, espically the guys looking to buy the low end or top end model in the Titan line-up to the tune of $3150.00, SE owners get stuck with a $2800.00 increase.

The upside to those figures, the 04 and 05 model guys can expect higher residule values at time of sale, that is if you ever plan to.......

The XE CC price is an invoice price. The 05 XE CC -$22950-price you show looks like an invoice price, not a MSRP.MSRP for the XE CC was always about $26000+.Charlie

The 2006 Titan continues to provide a fresh alternative and innovative design to the full-size truck category. It is offered in both King Cab and Crew Cab body configurations and with standard 305-horsepower 5.6-liter DOHC V8 with best-in-class 379 lb-ft torque, 5-speed automatic transmission and a maximum towing capacity of up to 9,500 pounds (when properly equipped).

The 2006 Titan is available in a choice of 4x4 and 4x2 drive configurations. Pricing includes an MSRP of $23,250 for the Titan XE KC 4x2, $26,450 for the Titan XE KC 4x4, $27,900 for the Titan SE CC 4x2 and $35,750 for the Titan LE CC 4x4. The overall sales-weighted MSRP increase for model year 2006 Titan is 1.1%.

Are you sure about this? This seems like propaganda? Geez - tell us something we all dont already know. This seems to have been pasted from a Nissan website or something. I mean if they put out a new 345 HP motor it would be worth rehashing...but dude - I think we know all the basics about this truck. That is what makes it such a sick truck - all this is STANDARD!

Yes, It is a cut and paste. There was a paragraph that I missed including that said the increase was up to I believe $650 (depends on trim level) but it included a few more items added as standard equiptment. It did state the increase was approx. 1 percent which isn't a whole lot of money.
I do want to see what the extra goodies are though...

Yeah - not trying to give you a hard time - I think the standard approach will build value quickly in our trucks. Knowing that all the Titans have the 305 keeps their costs down. However, they may need to answer the higher calling to the FAST sports truck (i.e. STX, SRT Hemi, SS, etc) - maybe in a couple more years. The No Fear Titan is interesting...but that is nothing that an owner could'nt do after delivery.
