i have read over the yahoo auto website for the titan, read the booklet offered at the dealership, and the nissan website but i still got just a couple of questions.
1. im guessing locking rear differential and 4-wheel limited slip (ABLS) are a little different...can i get an explanation of how.
2. what are the security features exactly. i see it has "vehicle security system" and "nissan vehicle immobilizer system" but i was thinking about putting a viper alarm on it with the 2-way responder. but my friend that just bought his frontier told me that i didnt need it because no one could steal it since it has a "lock box" in it so that no one can steal it with out the key. is that correct also?
3. when i have it in 4 wheel drive and try to park it seems like the front wheels are not wanting to move when the wheel is turned, i have been switching it back to 2 wheel drive before i park...it seems to be better that way. is that normal?
4. it came with a drop in bed liner and the same buddy as above told me that i need to take that out and get a spray on bed liner because the truck bed underneath the liner will start to rust. is that something i need to worry about?
if i can think of anything else i'll ask, yall guys seem to know what yall are talking about. thanks for the help.

1. You are correct ABLS and E-Lock are two seperate and different things. ABLS=Active brake limited slip, in other words if one of the wheels is slipping breaking force is directed to that wheel and the opposite wheel gains traction. With E-lock both wheels gain traction.
2. I have no idea, but some have added after market security systems.
3. That is normal.
4. A drop in liner is probably better than nothing, it will keep your bed from getting a lot of dings and scratches, but it will over time rust. A sprayed on liner is more durable and will prevent rust.

1. ALBS is for braking safety. The E-lock is for traction and locks the rear differential when in 4WD Lo. There are mods to let you lock it anytime.
2. Some models have a factory alarm and I think they all have a key with a transponder that keeps the truck from starting without the correct key. My LE has both.
3. It sounds like you are using 4WD on pavement. That's not good for the driveline. You should only use it on loose surfaces.
4. I had a drop in liner in my Ford. I didn't get any rust, but there's a line on both sides of the bed where it rubbed the paint. The good thing about the plastic liners is that it's easier to pull stuff out of the bed.
I agree with everything you have added except for that statement. As I said previously ABLS=Active Brake Limited Slip. ABLS is not to be confused with the Anti Lock Braking System, they are two seperate things.

i do use the 4 wheel drive on pavement when i go down the highway in rain or snow. thats is ok right? i dont want to mess anything up but i want to make sure i have plenty of traction so i dont spin out or lose control.
id much rather have a spray in bed liner and ive heard line-x is good so i'll check that out. any others i should check out that are any good?

The only thing that'll wear things out is driving on non-slippery surfaces where turning would bind. If driving in a straight line, I.E. going straight on a highway, you're fine...probably not needed in non-snowy conditions, but fine. I use my 4WD for slippery conditions only or for any light off-roading I may encounter.

You should avoid at all times driving on non-slip surfaces when in 4wd. This is not an all wheel drive system. When in 4wd the tires must slip a little or you will be in trouble. You will bind up your drive train and have a hard time disengaging 4wd. The manual also tells you not to engage 4wd when on hard surfaces. You can get away with it for a short time (emergency's), but don't make it a habit.
