How Do You Like The New Blue?

Yesterday I posted a new pic of the Majestic Blue Titan at my Local Dealer and today I am wondering.....

Which do you like better, Majestic Blue or the Radiant Silver?

I am torn between the ultimate desire to buy my favorite color Blue, and the practicality and ease of upkeep of the Silver. Living here in the South the dark colors just bake you after sitting in the sun for only a few minutes, and the scratches show up so easily. I'll be buying a LE 4X4 CC for work and travel, so I just can't seem to decide. Got to make a decision before Monday!

Hey all you Smoke and Black owners out there... How is your a/c system working in the south during the times when you idle around waiting in traffic, is it still ice cold or just ok throughout the whole cabin?

Why did Nissan go ahead and give me what I wanted, now it's soooo hard to decide.

the blue looks great, my favorite color also.

but taking into consideration what you said about upkeep and the heat and dirt/scratches on the paint makes the silver more attractive.

of course thats just my opinion

Keep the silver. Much easier to maintain. The blue is nice color though. However, you will be spending alot of time cleaning to keep looking good.

Dothan eh? I'm over in Enterprise. I haven't seen that color yet, I was just at Mitchell Nissan today, but they definately didn't have any of those. I actually really like that color. Mine is a smoke LE, and I haven't found it to be too terrible. Obviously any car in this area is going to be pretty damn hot when you first get in it, but I've found the A/C to be adequate. It isn't the coldest A/C I've felt, but does the job. Hey, do they still have that lifted red Titan on the lot? I checked it out a while ago and it was still there a couple weeks ago, must be having a hard time getting someone to pay for all the add-ons.

Blue or Silver

Uh, I like both and am actually considering getting my Radiant Silver painted in a two tone.

Blue on top, silver on bottom.

A/C in Smoke King Cab

I live in the HOT & HUMID S.W. FLA - my Smoke Titan gets frosty inside -seriously dark (probably illegal - thanks IN THE DARK ) window tint really helps.

This summer I drove from FLA to CO/UT (more than 7,000 miles), on the return trip it was 100++ degrees from Fort Collins, CO to Atlanta - no problems staying cool there either...

I'm in Central Texas where the humidity makes it feel like 110-115 outside when in reality its 95 and my A/C works fine in my KC. Takes a few minutes to cool off but it works for me. Find myself leaving it on level 2 as when I put it on 1 it usually ends up getting stuffy.

like the new Blue - never been too partial to blue, but on the Titan it looks good. Can't wait to see one around here to see what it fully looks like

Smoke is nowhere near the same color catagory as black or real dark blue. I've owned two black cars, and three Smoke cars. The Smoke hides dirt in scratches much better then the darker colors, and is nowhere near as hot. It was in the 105-110 degree range for over a week strait here in CA, and my Smoke truck never got too hot. My black Eclipse was unbearable, open the door and a blast of hot air hit you.

I saw the red titan traveling round town last week. It was an ok mod job, but the tires were definately too skinny for that size lift.

They had two 06 models out of about ten new 05's that came off the truck this week. If you go by, they are or were, way in the back on the L/h side of the dealership when looking from Hwy84. It was an XE I believe, nothing I was interested in, but with the black slidding tool box which I already have, deep tinted windows, step rails, and sliding overhead racks in black on a 4X4 LE CC. I think that the blue would look AWSOME!

I might have to drive over to see that blue, would be a good excuse to get some real food. We're kinda limited here in Enterprise. So do you already have a Titan and are trading in or are you looking to buy a new one?

I think that blue would look great with some dark windows, which would also help the heat. If you need a good tint job, the Llumar guy here does great work and lifetime warranty.

I'm not sure how it would hold up to dirt/scratches. My father's truck is a dark blue, not mettalic and it shows dirt/scratches real bad. My smoke is pretty decent when it comes to dirt/scratches, probably not as good as a silver but no way as bad as black. My last truck was a Chevy in Light Pewter Mettalic, which was by far the best color I've seen for hiding dirt and scratches.

My air isn't as cold as other trucks that I have owned, but has worked fine in our present 100 degree plus heat. Really no complaints about it.

Blue is a much too trendy, short-lived color on vehicles for my taste. I like my smoke so far, but it is the first vehicle I've had in that color.

My 2¢
Blue is way better than Silver.
Silver has almost no contrast to the chrome, therefore all the cool chrome details are virtually lost...

Nice color...looks very similar to the "Eternal Pearl Blue" Honda offered on the 4 cyl Accords in 2000-2003 (of which I had and traded in on the Titan)

The blue isn't to bad. Not my first choice but looks ok on the Titan.

I think silver and chrome go good togeather, you can deffinatly tell the silver form the chrome parts, silver is easy to keep clean and it still looks good when its dirty. My favorite color would be a black or a dark blue, but I no in the long run I am going to be much happier with the silver as it won't show all those scratches as easy.
