Utilitrack Bow Holder

I built a bow holder for the utilitrack, thought you'd like to see it. I simply made an angle bracket, and attached it to the track using spring nuts for uni-strut. You should be able to get the spring nuts at any hardware store.
I used Mad Dog ATV Fin Grip Pros, for the holder itself, from Bass Pro Shops for $20.
Should work great for a gun, shovel, fishing rod, whatever you want to store. I probably won't use it for long trips, for that I'll use my hard case, but for short trips, or just a place to hang the bow while we're getting ready behind the truck, this should do the trick. Any questions, feel free to ask.

Very nice. Nice to see some good old American know how put to use. It looks good enough to be a factory-supplied accessory. Thanks for posting it.

Thanks for all of the nice comments guys!
TNbowhunter,
Yeah, mine's an MQ1 as well. Great bow. The holders are ATV holders, but they have a flat base instead of a post & u-bolt, which made it all the easier to mount to the angle. Good luck to you as well. Our season starts Sept 15, how about yours?

Archery season opens Sept. 24th. It looks like it's going to be hot, and we have an abundance of mosquitos, ticks and gnats.
I saw three bucks together Friday evening about a half mile from the house, one was a real dandy, I hope he sticks around.
Yeah I love my MQ1, I've had it for three years and it shoots like a dream. I thought about trying out the new Switchback, but I'm going to stick with what I have for a few more years.
Again, good luck to ya. "Pick a spot." Lol.

If the bugs are a problem, get a Thermacell. Best mosquito repeller round. It literally creates a 15' circle of protection around you. Use some heavy velcro to mout it to the deck of your stand. Just keep it horizontal. Many around here use them during early bow and also spring turkey season. We have a couple that we use during cookouts as well. I can't say enough good about it. Bass Pro carries them, as well as other outdoor stores. http://www.mosquitorepellent.com/repellent.html

I've been hearing a lot about the Thermacell's, i'll have to give it a try. Do they give off any odor? It sure beats itching.

I guess good minds think alike. I have the Switchback. Maybe Nissan ought to be offering the Mathews bows as an accessary.
