Escalade EXT

just curious...

i noticed the EXT in the parking lot today and wondererd...if the Titan can take the HEMI could it also take the EXT. i know the EXT has a bigger engine than the HEMI but would just like to verify it with you guys...

'02 - 0-60 in 8secs flat per MotorTrend:
http://motortrend.com/roadtests/pick...6_/index4.html

'06 - Autos.com has it at 6.3secs:
http://www.autos.com/autos/sport%20u...alade_ext/base

Autos.com also has the Titan at 6.2secs 0-60.

The EXT is nearly 2 seconds slower to 60 than the Titan. This is from their own site. It uses an old 4 speed tranny and GM, like Dodge, probably overstates HP numbers. It's a "luxo" truck, not a powerhouse. It'll only tow just over 7000 LBS.

No contest. The Caddie is much slower. Not sure why anyone thinks they are fast but they do. Hemi will beat the Caddie easy and it isn't even a contest for the Titan.
