Can anyone recommend a shift knob?

I'd like to get a nice billet shift knob for my truck, and would like one that I can just screw on, without having to cut or modify the lever to make it work. If I could get it anodized a grey to match the dash, that's even better!

If you've found one out there, can you please point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Sorry that I am not able to recommend a shift knob. I have an Ichibon knob that looks generally like an aluminum ball that is flatted on the top. However, it installs by first screwing a plastic adapter sleeve (with a closed circular upper end) over the shift rod, and then clamping the Ichibon knob to the sleeve with set screws. An aluminum cover then screws onto the lower end portion of the knob, covering the set screws. It looks o.k. (tastes may vary), but this isn't the greatest mounting system in the world. A knob with threads that actually fit the Titan's shift rod threads would be much preferable.

what exactly are you looking for, shape and size. Also, can you cut your own threads, as I can turn you a shift knob out of any wood you want. I try to avoid soft metals as they dull my cutting tools.

Here are some NISMO knobs that look sweet.

Check with some vendors on this site as to best pricing and compatibility w/the titan.

i'd actually thought about doing a baseball shift knob out of a real baseball, but i don't know if that's possible (or feasible due to the dirty hand factor). i also don't have the first idea of how to take the factory knob off. i have the captain's chairs with console shifter.

I saw these "voodoo knobs" A while back. They are pretty slick and screw right on.
Here is the link.
Good luck

I did an real 8ball on my Jeep after the stock one broke off. I just drilled a hole and epoxied it on but if you could get a threaded insert and glue it in that would do the trick. I've seen one made out of a stainless hitch ball looked really cool. Most of the Nismo ones are for manual shifters not sure if the thread is the same anyone know for sure??
