Exclamation Still negotiating on Titan, need help

I am negotiating on a Titan 4X4 SE CC w/ OR,UB,BT, and captains chairs, the price is $30778.00, now that does not include tax, title ($46) or this $595 administrative fee. I am stumped, the sales guy and the GM come over to me and tell me that even if an employee of the dealership buys a car there, that they have to pay this, I think it is BS to say the very least. I need some responses to this thread, as I am supposed to go back tommorrow morning and finalize the deal. I want to tell them to shove the $599 and then we have a deal. Thanks for any advice you guys can give.

if you tell them to shove that 599 then the dealership might not make any money. i like that. haha.

i don't know how your APR is looking but keep in mind that number is negotiable too especially if you have an impeccable credit score. i'm a little bit jealous because your truck is gonna be cheaper than mine. keep us updated.

Tell them your not going to pay for the Administrative fee, if they don't comply look elsewhere let them know that you won't be suckered. Make sure to go over all the numbers real carefully since they will try to jack up the price where ever they can, and don't be afraid to ask questions.
Tell them you won't pay for an administrative fee when you could use the money to buy GAP for your truck. Good luck and make sure you don't let them know how much you like the truck as they will use it against you.

I got the same exact truck with SE pop w/ Capt (which I would think your's has) for $29030. It's year end clearance time, they should be willing to make a better deal now. (my rebate was $1500, not the $2000 they are offering now)

I have the same exact truck you are looking at without the UB. Mine was $30,250 - $2000 rebate so I pade $28,250 + TTL. As I understand it, the UB package is about a $1000 upgrade. If they are telling you $30778 they are in the ball park with the price but the $595 is bogus. Tell 'em to shove it.

BS charges! A few days is not going to hurt, but you probably will be money ahead, to buy mods. Go to another dealer/s see what deal they can do for you. Their are lots of Titans and dealers. Doesn't hurt to see what's around. Do not buy the dealer extended warranty. You can save money and buy after sale, do search on this site.

...well, when I was buying my LE 4X2

the original deal was for a LE 4X4 CCwith DVD, Offroad, etc, at $31850...

but I settled for my LE 4X2 with DVD, Nav and VDC with Side Airbags for the same price.

But this was in May...

Still negotiating on Titan, need help

I appreciate the advice you all gave me, and plan on going back to the dealer in the morning. I am going to put my foot down on the $599 Admin fee, as I have researched and found on cars.com that it is bogus and should be refused. The $30778 does include a $595.00 supposed paint/fabric protectant which I told the GM was something that should be an option, not added when the truck comes in. I clay bar my current truck twice a year and wax it every three weeks, and do not need the paint sealer stuff. My only problem is I live in Ga where there are slim pickins on 4X4's, and also the color and options I want. The dealer is in Marietta Ga, and they found the truck in Chatanooga TN. I hope it isn't gone by morning with it being the supposed end of the great Nissan deals on the 1st. Maybe I will have some more leverage because it will be the last day of the month. Atleast I know where the truck is and can just tell them that I will go to another dealer and have them get it for me. Thanks again for the help

1. They tried this same B/S with me when I purchased my Titan. My response to them was remove it or lose it... They backed off immediately.... I also refused to pay the destination fee and they ate that also.... Got my SE for 21K Tax Tag and Title...

The adminstrative fee is Barbara Strisand, and the current rebate on the 05 Titan C/C is $2250.00. There is no rebate on the 06's.
