Exclamation Someone is using TT to attack a port on my PC

Firewall is shutting TT down. Someone has hijacked TT or something because its causing a data overflow. Using Norton, never did this before.

This event also occurred on my sytem. Source of attack was TT. However, it is probably spoofed.

Man just happened again, firewall shut down TT tonight about 5 min ago. Who ever owns the server needs black ice and needs to do a port scan.

My PC-cillin detected a virus attack and simply put me in safemode. Ran a virus scan. Nothing big i suppose, or else it woul have told me.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about. Black Ice doesnt make a product for UNIX servers, and thats what runs TitanTalk.com -- There should be no "probes" or "virii" coming from here, since its essentially just a webserver.

There was an attack on my firewall and the spoof was TT. I am not an amateur at this. My system is safe and I have had probes like this before. I don't believe that it is coming from TT, just passing it on FYI.

Happened on my system about a week or so ago. Symantec Internet Security picked it up on my browser.

This report is correct and is linked back to an IE exploit.

For the people with attitudes about this...why would we report something that is not true?

The exploit is based on IE problems on the client side. However it hijacks the TT domain and blocks it to protect the client.

Well, that's the attitude that lets these things proliferate...Couldn't be my system doing that. Well, that's the lazy answer.

Well, maybe it's worth a little time to check and see what might be going on. This site allows people to upload pictures and links, gee, maybe it's coming from there...

Good point! Just thinking of when the attacks started and I clicked on the leafblower NO2 thread. And followed the link. Maybe? Same here, my system is pretty clean and just wanted admin to know something was up. They don't know if we keep our mouths shut and try to deal with it on our own. Kinda like the A/C condenser drain ya know. Now, is there a file hiding somewhere in my system? Because my scans don't pick it up.
Behind work firewall right now.
