What does that red plastic screw looking thing do in the back of the sensor where the opening is. There is a - and a + there too.

it's been awhile but I think it's the sensitivity adjustment.

it is the distance adjustment....I left mine alone where it was at from factory when it was on my tundra. I also put the speaker behind some towels in the rear cab area as it drove me crazy when it chirped everytime I put it in reverse.

Anybody using these on the front of their vehicles? I imagine you could just run it to a switch in the cabin. It would be nice to have the front sonar as well like my dad's X5. Comes in handy if you can't reverse park somewhere...

I think a member here hooked it up to there brights so whenever they had the brights on the sensor in the front was on.

I put one of the Autopark devices on my wife's Ford Explorer, she is extremely "reverse challenged". It works well so far and I left the sensitivity adjustment at default. Because of her being "reverse challenged" she hasn't driven my Titan...ever! If she should ask, I'll just remind her of all the damage she did to my Dodge Ram. She even loaned to the neighbors once while I was out of town so that they could have some fun putting dents in my truck.
