Ford F-350 4x4 stuck, but not the Titan!

My friends, family and I went camping at Ensenada this past Labor Day Weekend. We camp right on the beach so its risky to drive through there if you dont have 4x4. Well a guy with a Ford F-350 4x4 decided to park his truck on very loose sand. I drove up next to his truck and backed into a spot where I was parking the whole weekend. A few minutes later, the people in the F-350 decided to leave. But the truck decided otherwise...hahaha. I was shocked to see a F-350 4x4 stuck in the same loose sand that I had just driven over and backed out of a few minutes ago, especially since I have the crappy XE tires with over 25000 miles on them. I took some pics so that you guys could check it out with your own eyes.

Yeah, that's great. Duallies are notoriously poor for off-road performance, but good to see that you got some pics. Did you offer to yank him out of the hole?? That would have really been a site to see.....

i pulled a 4x4 dually out of the sand at dumont last winter. he had bfg mud-terrains on all six wheels and was plowing up one of the dunes until he couldn't go any further and then backing back down-- over and over again. then he tried a little too hard one time and dug himself deeper than his truck could back out of. I was pretty proud when eased him out gently in 4 lo with the locker locked. good times.

Sure wasn't. Plain Jane f-350. Yea the weight screwed him. Looks like his tires are full of air. Airing down is a must on a truck that heavy with that much tourqe.

Those F-350's are some heavy a$$ vehicles doesnt look like he had very good tires either, should air them down.
Weight and tires are what make 4 wheel drive good or bad.

I would say that it isn't stuck if it weren't for the dudes digging the tires out.

You are right, I stand corrected. I even looked at the picture and thought I saw the flared fenders indicating a dually. In that case, probably some crummy OEM GoodYear tires.

I have seen guys that were stuck attempt to dig around the tires, then spin the wheels some more, then dig some more, and pretty soon the truck is high centered. Almost as entertaining as watching some people try to load a boat on a trailer on a steep ramp.

After growing up on the coast I found the most effective tool that most everyone has with them to get unstuck from the sand is your floor mats.
