The Titan has very few TSB's compared to any other full size truck. The big 3 have been making full size trucks for how long and they still cant get it right. For nissan building a full size from the ground up so far the problems have been minor.

Lighten up vnt. TSB's dont affect every vehicle. If you dont have the symptoms, you dont have any problem! I live in NM and dont have this problem on my '04...come to think of it, I havent had any of the TSB problems except for the brake judder.

I'm calm... I'm calm! Well I took the truck back cause the brake shudder returned but this time they had the oversized rotors instock and all the related parts, I even complained about the a/c not getting cold enough at idle... they did the new brake job and test the a/c and turned out the a/c was hitting 39 degrees at idle... (my mistake). The reason I was pissed is the first time the brakes had an issue I was out the whole freaking day w/o a car to drive, the dealer promised me the titan back in 4hours and I got it back in 8 hours. But this time, I insisted on a loaner/rental and they gave me a 04 Murano, freaking finally.

i'm sorry for getting pissed, my service advisor acts like I make **** up when I take the truck in for service, she probably thinks that cause everything they've done so far was free <ROFL>

I don't know what the hell you guys are complaining about.. I love TSBs. They are an acknowledgement that the car has problems. And every car we own has a long list, from BMW to Benz to Acura and Honda. I hate it when people try and act like their "other" car is perfect.

What sucks though is that my build date is NOT covered by this TSB yet I certainly have this problem. What to do now?

You're not crazy or at least, I haven't seen you at any of our meetings

I took my truck in for...
1. 2nd Brake judder
2. poor a/c cooling at idle
3. radio losing treble
4. driver side door rolling down when I used automatic up
5. tailgate not closing properly
6. blowing fuses
7. my a/c was making a sucking noise every 13 seconds when it was humid.

They replaced my brakes...

I then took the service manager on a drive and...

We found that I blew a fuse.
We found that my tailgate wasn't shutting properly.
We heard my a/c making the sucking noise.

I didn't go down the radio path because I was too busy talking with the service manager who...

Couldn't get my vehicle back in for another week because he was too busy-never mind the fact that he didn't get it fixed the first time.

Said the tailgate bracket would need to be bent and I would need to take it to a collision center-with whom I discussed the situation and we put in another gasket!

Said the a/c was normal

TSB's are going to be a part of any truckline however the service to get them addressed should not have to be such a hassle.

Don't give up on the Titan. Go find a reputable dealership service department and when you don't get good service, feel free to contact Nissan directly.

IMHO.

My AC works amazing!, even at idle so....it doesn't effect all trucks. I just wish the blower was a bit stronger.
