wheels and tire size for 6" lift

Hi all,
What size of wheels and tires you have on your Titan after a 6" lift. I don't know which one I should use on mine. 15", 16", or 17". I plan to use 35" tire.

Which combo of wheels and tires look best and easy+less $ for replacement in the future. I am thinking of 17" rim and 35" tire. What are your oppinion? Picture would be great too.

Thanks in advance.

A 15" rim will definately not fit over the Titan's calipers, and most 16" wheels seem to not fit either. I've read of a few that did, but it seems that 17" is your safest bet for the smallest wheel size to use. As far as your other questions, that's a personal opinion. Try looking through the gallery or searching the forum for what other owners have done.

I myself have the Centerline Stingray III's in the 17x8" flavor. No lift (other than a mini-PRG) but I've seen other's use this wheel with the CST lift.

I thought one of the best looking lifted trucks on the forum was the Galaxy crew cab with the 6" lift and stock XE wheels painted black. Simple steel or aluminum wheels with a lot of rubber make the truck look like its ready to be used, polished 22's on a lifted truck look like, well, that it's not.

I have been spend last couple hours reading on the "search". I found lots of information regarding my question. There was one tread (sorry I forgot which one) regarding on 18" stock wheel on a 6" lift. The wheels will rub. I am very concern because I got my lift at one shop and my wheels at different shop. Can I temporary drive my truck to the other shop for wheels. They are 30 min aways. Can someone please confirm this information for me? Thanks,

were i work we lift titans all the time and i would have to say that 80% of all the titans we build keep the stock wheels with larger tires. 17s, 18s, it doesnt matter, every titan lift kit that i have seen will take a wheel with a maximum b/s of 6" with a diameter of as large as you want and most wheels are 4 5/8 to 5", so if you want your factory wheels keep 'em, it wont hurt a thing.
