Earlier today my son told to come look at my truck. When he showed me the back of my truck, I saw the right cable that holds the tailgate in place when lowered was not connected and was sticking out in between the tail light and the gate. The screw was still there so I put it back in and then checked the screw on the other end. It was loose as well. Both ends of the cable on the left side were loose too. I'm glad he caught it when he did or I may have damaged the gate later on with weight placed on it. Everyone should check theirs to be sure. I think I'm going to put some lock-tite on it.

You have two choices in life:
You can stay single and be miserable,
or get married and wish you were dead.
No because you don't remove the screws to release the cables. If you look closely the end of the cable can be slid off the screw head after pressing a small tab.

Please, I don't need to know Loctite is registered and we don't need to start going into discloser jargon. I deal with this stuff enough at work already.

There are 10 types of people in the world... those who understand binary and those who don't.
HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! Dude, I know it's off topic, but that sig destroyed me. I think I shot yogurt through my nose. The sad thing is, I'm the only one in my office that speaks binary. I can't even share it without giving a math lesson.
