Tires wearing unevenly in front, suggestions/help?

I got an 05 CC with 5k miles and I have noticed that the tires on the front are cross-cutted. I mean that the tread is uneven when I run my hand from front-to-back along the tire. What is this a sign of? I am in no way familiar with suspension actions/reactions and am looking for suggestions. I got the stock 18" wheels, Goodyear tires and no suspension mods. Also, the rear tires are wearing perfectly.

I'd say check your alignment. Your front tires will always wear quicker than your rears, unless of course you're doing smoky burn outs on a regular basis. OEM tires also seam to wear quicker than aftermarket brands. I personally think it's a conspiricy between auto companys and tire makers.

Your front end is either out of alignment or your tires aren't inflated correctly.
First I would check the psi of all your tires, if that is OK then your front end is out of alignment.

Mine is the same way. I had a Nissan hardbody years ago and it did the same thing as the Titan.

The tire pressures are fine, check those at least once every two weeks. I think I am going to get the alignment checked, but just want to see if anyone else has/had the same problem, and what they did.

Factory tires are usually a joke which is why I change mine out when I can afford to. If you are still under warrenty then complain about the ride, handleing, uneven wear, your dog does't like em or whatever you have to to get them changed out to another tire. The dealership has the means to do this if they choose to. good luck.

^ good luck my front tires are messed up, they offered to replace the front two for $375...

I said, no thanks, I've found them online for $116ea...

I've got one that's bald in the center, the other seems to be ok actually, I'm thinking about buying 1 and pulling the un-used tire off of my spare. Throw the bald one away and put the semi-nice one on the spare...

Sounds like allignment, did the wife hit a curb by chance?
