I've got an ARE Mpulse on my CC. I'll have to get pics. It was $1069 with front slider, painted Brawn red, interior light added and removeable roof racks.

Hey, different brand shell but I put the chrome tailgate piece on too.

Anyway, I ended up paying $1600 for the 100XQ. I checked around 3 other places and it was pretty much the going rate. The Snugtop was just slightly less.

Yeah I didn't think I liked how the 100XQ window went to the cab and I loved how clean the back window was on the ARE the leer had a couple of covered screws or whatever that hold the rear window on and the ARE was smooth and seemles except for the latch. It was a pretty close call and the local leer dealer I had heard was hard to deal with and one guy I talked to had gone through 3 caps and still wasn't happy open trailer transport it got chipped, misaligned hinges casued the rear window to break and he just had a rough time so I got the ARE and I am pretty much pleased with it. Nice truck BTW seeing yours in black I don't mind the side window as much as some others I've seen and you dual extreme side exit is sweet between your truck and mine you have all the options I was coosing from exhaust, Cap, LE OR , or SE BT. But they bot look great in black. Do you have a CAI??

I don't think that they weigh that much more than a hard tonneau but you double the storage. It makes it a poor man's(well actually a cheap man's) Armada. I like it better than an SUV because I haul my dogs in the back and I don't get the mess or wet dog smell in the CAB.

I wonder about that too but I figured with black it won’t make much difference and the gap between the cab and bed/shell is not noticeable. It was a toss up between the Leer and ARE for me. I liked the ARE windows better but like that the Leer didn’t have trim along the bottom edges. Local prices were within $100 of each other include the SnugTop. I don’t have a CAI yet. Your Borla tips have a great look.

I had considered a SE at the time but there weren’t many trucks available when I bought and I figured if I was going to have to order a truck and wait that I just go for broke. Besides the DVD has been great on the road trips…

My wife hinted at getting an Armada but in the end the Titan with a shell has been perfect. I can haul almost any back from the hardware store, haul the dogs around (one gets car sick, bleeh) and not have to worry about screwing up the interior or as you mentioned, smell the dogs. Must be nice having the 05 power rear window though!

I had seen some leer that did also have the trim so I wasn't sure if that one would also(I'm not fond of the trim) but I really don't mind the trim afterall not really noticeable and it's color matched to the cap so it looks alright.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did your shells cost? I have my eye on the ARE shell. Thanks
