I got a warrenty amendment letter from Nissan stating that they are going to cover the brakes for the Brake Judder condition until 36 months/unlimited miles for 2004 and 2005 models. Anyone else get it?

I haven't got mine yet, but my service advisor told me about it. He did say that warranty does not become effective until Nissan puts the new hardware on your truck.

So until I get the brake judder, the mileage and miles does not start? I just got my Titan and only have 400 miles on it.
just got my letter in the mail last week.
I was very glad to see Nissan step up and take care of us.
I bought my truck in june of 2004 my truck has 20,000 miles on her and i am getting a brand new warranty on my brand new brakes once they get them in stock at the dealer...THATS FRICKIN COOL!!!

Wrong, brakes are only covered under the "original" warranty for the first year, 12k miles. The "letter" extends the warranty for 36 months, unlimited miles...........first trip to the dealer only requires them to turn the rotors and maybe replace the pads, as was done to my truck. Hence, no "upgrade" there.

but now if you ask them to perform the brake TSB, they should do it. Especially with this letter in hand now.
Got mine a few days ago.

I just took my in for a check on something else and the dealerhsip volunteered the brake swap.. they also volunteered the early differential servicing. Though I had to pay for half of the diff service for some reason, the rest was warranty. It was only 65.00 for the servicing though.

The letter states that the brake judder issue will be covered for 36 months/unlimited miles - nothing to do with the new hardware after they put it on.

I believe your right, my Nissan dealer told me that the 36 months was from the date you purchased the truck, not from when they did the brakes.
