BFG Warranty

Hey guys - I just took a close look at the BFG's on my Titan. There is noticeable cracking and the heavily worn tread. I only have 15K miles on the truck. I have had my Titan for a little over a year now.

Do any of you know the warranty for the BFGs on the 4x4 Off Road package? To me it seems these tires should not be cracking and the tread should be wearing longer.

I believe all the warranty info is in the book you got when you bought the truck. I know there are sections in there for the different tire brands.

Yeah I gotta find my paperwork. That might be like finding a needle in a haystack. Just thought someone else might have the same truck with most likely the same warranty. What are your thoughts on the BFG's cracking in less than a year!

The tire warranty info is in the Nissan warranty book.

Covered for the life of the tread or 6 years, whichever comes first.

Not covered: Road hazard, incorrect mounting, etc., underinflation, overinflation, improper maintenance or other abuse, mechanical irregularities in the vehicle, accident, fire, chemical corrosion, vandalism, ozone or weather cracking...

I wonder if taking an o/r tire o/r is defined as abuse.

The BGG Rugged trail's are not known for long tread life, I have them on my truck and they are pretty much worn out after 30K miles.
The cracking is not normal though.

Well I have had it off road a few times. Nothing to thrash them or the truck though. I am going to be talking to the dealership...someone is going to give up an answer. New tires like this should not be cracking...

I haven't looked at my tires for cracking but have noticed that the tread has worn off incredibly fast.

I've had BFG All-Terrain tires on a couple of other trucks that I've owned and have always thought they were a really good tire. The Rugged Trails, however, are pieces of crap.

I've been wanting to put a meatier tire on the truck ever since I got it in May 2004. Looks like I may get my chance pretty soon as the tires on my truck appear more like they have 35K miles instead of 18K.
