2007 Tahoe info

Info on the new generation of GM trucks has been released. Looks pretty good IMO. Displacement on demand engines, 6 speed automatic. Looks like stiff competition.

Thumbs down Boring

Looks like every other Chevy on the road-Boring. Is there any creative ingenuity with Chevy?

Its nice to see that chevy finally takes a step out of the 80's for interior inspiration and rips off what looks like a poorly designed chrysler layout.

Chevy will be Chevy, which is why I unloaded my Chevy Tahoe for my '05 Texas Titan SE. Couldn't be happier, although I would love for our gas guzzling Titans to have displacement on demand.

It definitly looks different. The interior looks good as well. I was hoping that they would change the rear a little more. But it was time far a change anyway.

Thumbs down

It looks very very BORING! The exterior needs major change, the interior as well looks very cheesy and boring.

Those headlights look like the ones on the new Dodge Charger.

don't forget, GM came close to bankruptcy from what i heard. they probably had to get rid of some of their design people.

i love how the grill kind of resembles a V shape near the headlights......wonder where they got the idea for a V shape? maybe the new nissan truck/suv line?

This design has been in the works for some time now. At least over a year. They also recently stepped up on there R & D budget by over a Billion dollars. Moving it up to 8 billion dollars. It looks good, the interior is a little drab, but it is a lot better than any single interior of Toyota's. Ya know it.

What don't you like about the interior? I almost agree with you, but could you give me some detail.

I think it is a nice looking rig, inside and out. I have only seen it in pictures, so I might have a different feeling once I see it.

I am curious to see what GM will do for 2007 on their full size trucks. I wonder if they will move up production like they did for these large SUVs. January is what I heard for availability.

they certainly are redoing every one in their line-up, From Chevy to Cadillac, everything is getting redone. Maybe even a price drop

I dont understand why all these manufacturers put their screen in the middle/lower part of the dash, requiring you to look DOWN.

Atleast nissan has it up high on most (all?) of their vehicles.

Kudos nissan!
