I think a Titan may tug a dodge fairly easy after this vid

That's been going around for a while. And it has nothing to do with what's tugging what. It's all about weight and traction. I lost a tug of war to a 2500 RAM Hemi and then he lost to a 3500 Chevy Diesel. The chevy was heavier than the Ram and the Ram was way heavier than my Titan so the the lighter truck just drags from lack of traction. That Bronco was most likely in 4x4 Low range and the Ram was a 2wd.
U tugged with a 2500 hemi???
Ummmmm, i dont think that would be advisable.
Anyway, The point is that bronco makes hardly any rear-wheel horsepower, its lighter, and the tires look stock.

Goes to show you that its not all about horsepower, which is a common misconseption among many ram hemi owners.

Yup, and lost, but it was a good time anyway.
But the main point was the the Bronco in 4-low has far better traction than teh 2wd Ram. Know what I mean?
Yeah, 2wd will almost always lose a tug contest. No weight over the axel doing the work so all that tq and hp never makes it to the ground. You just spin and get tugged.
Ram Would have won with a 1000lb of sand in the back :P

I had that problem trying to pull a work van stuck in several inches into soft mud. I spun and spun in 4 wheel but the van was loaded down and I had no weight in the back. I should have moved the tools to the bed of my truck for traction.
how much does the bronco weight though???
I think it was alot of driver error on the dodge drivers part. I know those 80's bronco 2 's dont weight much

The whole trick to tugging is having a higher attachment point. If the Bronco has a higher towing point than the ram, it will unweight the ram's back tires and cause it to lose traction. I'm reasonably certain that my fullsize Bronco in 4lo with a measly 302, 4.11 gears, and 35" tires would be able to drag my titan around the block regardless of the tow point height.
