cleaning cloth seats

I was wondering if anyone knows what to clean the cloth seats with. It seems like everything stains them.

cleaning cloth seats

I use an upholstery cleaner and steam vacuum.

Take a fan to blow dry it.

With four dogs and my playing in the mud, it works.

(Yes, I know I should get seat covers! I am looking... )

Had a truck full of coaches when one of them decided his oily sub sandwich would rest nicely between his legs. It left a oil stain that would not come out. The stain just got bigger. Finally took the GF's carpet steamer, used the furnature attachment, put Awesome Cleaner (dollar store find) in it and did the whole seat. Came out fine.
I have t-shirts over the seat backs and towels over the seat bottoms. Can take them out and wash them and put them back on fast.

Cool After you clean them

When I bought my truck a month ago, I went and bought 3 bottles of scotch guard and sprayed all of the fabric, even the carpets. I have two kids which are 2 and 4 tears old and are quite messy. For all three bottles it cost about $12. I would also use a steam vac if I had a bad stain, I own one and they really do work. Good luck!
