Kumho tires

Anyone have any experience with this brand? I am looking to replace the tires on a 2002 Sequoia, and they rate high at TireRack.com. They are comparable to the Yokohama Geolanders and Bridgestone Duelers in the categories listed, and are carried as a brand at Tire Discounters. Any good or bad expereinces with Kumho's?

I liked them on my 2003 Honda Accord Coupe. Never had a problem with them.

had some on my VW. They were great. No problems. Decent wear, great grip. Cheaper than others that fit the VW.

KUMHO-CReports kinda likes them.

Consumer Reports kinda likes them. They were about midway in a 22 tire test they did about 3 years ago.The very expensive Michelins-Cross Terrains and LTX were poorly rated.Same story on Long Trails. Some Hankooks(never heard of them, but I think Pep Boys sells them, and one of Sears in store brandsGENERALTRAC SUV maybe) were pretty decent.
I have always had OK results with Michelins, but I don't do objective tire testing. Many folks swear by michelins,so I expect some disagreement.
The Duelers were rated well above the Michelins.Luck,Charlie

Kumhos are great

I put 285/75/16 Kumho Road Venture AT KL-41's on my wife's Lexus LX and they have been awesome. They look great, handle great, no flats and at 30K miles they still have at least half tread left.....and best of all they were cheap! $450 for 4 including mounting, balancing, tax, and lifetime flat repair. I picked these up and Geralds in Charleston, SC...probably not a shop your familiar with. Nonetheless, I have been very happy and would highly recommend them. Interestingly, they just came out with some new sizes that may work great on some lifted Titans out there.

I had Kumho 31/10.5/15 Mud Terrains on my frontier. It was the most bad *** tire my friends and I had ever come across. They took a beating. I loved them and wish they made 35's for a 17" rim but no luck. A guy at work just got there All Terrain and they look real good. He says he likes them alot.

I had Kuhmos on my vette and currently have them on a Toyota T100 4x4. Great tire. I'll have to check Tire Rack and see if they have them in 18". Great tire.
