Big tow mirror broken...HELP!!!

Was driving down a road and a homeless hit my passenger mirror with his hand and broke the inside plastic as the mirror folded. Was wondering if anyone know how easy this fix can be?And if I would have to get a whole mirror replacement or not. Please help?!

Ohh...my heart goes out to you. I have been down that road and its not fun. If you dont find a used one on eBay or you cant fix it, you have to buy BOTH side mirrors at around $400 bucks for the set. Good luck!

Your picture is small so I can't see what part is broken. If you just need the shell, then probably yes. If you want the whole unit, then you'll need to get the '05 unit, I think. Does the '04 have heated tow mirrors?
I haven't found a site for '05 Titans yet, but if you call Gwinnett Place Nissan, they are good help, and can get you the parts you need.

Type in that same part # here:

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...&siteid=213861

Part number: 999T7-AQ001

If VW is right and you can't buy replacement parts, the entire kit is $297.50 at Gwinnett Place Nissan.

ROFLMAO..So basically, you hit some poor homeless guy and you're worried about your mirror?

J/K...Just found the story funny....in my "sick humor" sort of way!

I don't see the part in the link I posted. Maybe you should call the parts dept and find out what they can find on the full parts breakdown sheet. I'm afraid you'll have to buy the whole assembly, but just the one side.

Worst part is,I might not get any money from him cause his address is registered to a homeless shelter. His reason was"I'm sick and tired of cars swurving at me".They booked him for the night,he gets away with a free hot meal for the night while I get stuck with a broken mirror and paying for him to be in there.
