Thumbs up Titan Offroad

John Harden and I took our Titan offroad yesterday. He has 4X4 Rancho 4" lift and I have 4x2 6" Procomp lift. It was a great adventure. Mine is black. John's is red

The truck worked great. Greg, you did a great job on John's Titan.
I am waiting your your available time to help me on the level kit and Deaver leaf. I saw the Deaver leaf on John and it made me

Did you guys drive anything gnarly besides the fire roads to see the capability of the Titan?

Ya really, I wouldn't exactly call that off roading. That is like off pavementing or off freewaying...

You don't have to be hill or rock climbing to be off-roading. Prerunning and off-road racing like the Baja don't have everyone going up mountains and through mud pits.

For those that are interested in what a stock Titan can do, this picture was taken at Prairie City State Off Road Vehicular Park near Sacramento, CA.

BTW either Tyltan's or John's Titans could have done this during the same time of the year, (no mud which might stop the 2wd). Especially with the better approach and departure angles of their lifts.

Even though Tyltan's is 2wd, my Father-In-Law made this or a similar hill while in 2wd in his '04 Ram 1500 Quad Cab Hemi 4x4, with 20" rims and street tires! [His real limited slip may also have made the difference].

Zoom to see the steepness.

It was level 2 road, according to off road book. It's for beginner. It was my first time and my truck was 4x2. I went over couple mud pits but no problem at all.

The pictures don't do it justice.

Everybody has a different concept, I guess. This is more what I think about when I hear "off roading"

Although I don't think I will be taking the Titan rock sliding anytime soon.
