Re: Nissan Titan History (Model Year Changes)

My 2006 didn't come with mud flaps like my 2004 did. Were they trying to save money or are the flaps useless. They cost $110 to order and self install.

I have 13K miles on a 4X4 and I get 13 when driving hard and 18.5 on the hwy taking it easy. If you have a 4X2 without tow package your mileage should get better.

Check out Gwinnett Place Nissan. I got front and back splash guards (mud flaps) for less than $60.00

And yes, Holy Crap I'm stillllllll at Rucker.

Havent read through all the posts yet, but my 04 SE KC 4X4 NON Off Road has tow hooks.

All 4x4 have tow hooks and always have IIRC. I was talking about 2WD's.

My '06 LE CC 2wd non-OR (w/tow package) does not have tow hooks. Wish it did, though.

How much do the mudflaps help? Are they worth the money? Anyone have any take-offs?

I bought a set and put on my truck because I was chipping the hell out of my paint. It was an easy install. The flaps cost about $75 shipped.

Can anyone tellme where they got the additional 12 horsepower between the 06 and 07 models ? Is there any way the 06 can be upgraded to 317 hp. to match the 07 ?

Re: Nissan Titan History (Model Year Changes)

I just took delivery of my 2007 Titan Off Road. Traded in my 2005 Titan Off Road and I can't really tell much difference in power or torque. I do like the refined ride though. It's smoother shifting and quieter exaust and the revamped CD player is much welcomed. I test drove the New Tundra and I don't know where they hide that HP and Torque they claim cause a Titan would beat the pants of the New Tundra. I'll post a picture after I get all the salt spray off it.

Re: Nissan Titan History (Model Year Changes)

Weird...truck is filthy ...weather is over cast and at 2 of the 3 stores I stopped at TODAY complimented my Titan.

First store "Nice truck! That must be new" actually it's a 2004 " NO WAY..i thought it was a 2008 i feel stupid now"

Second store "nice new truck" ..actually it's a 2004..."really?...you could have fooled me"

I like that the changes have been subtle !!
