Re: Nissan Titan History (Model Year Changes)

With the 2005s, you had to get the air bag package to get the VDC, excluding XEs and Off Road E-Locker package. VDC was part of the BT package in '04 but was ommited if you had the OFF Road Package w/ E-Locker.

Not sure if this will help clarify anything on the 04's.
I have an 04' Titan CC 4x2 OR BT. I have VDC, power drivers seat, adjustable pedals, the E-locker, tow hooks, fog lights, the 17" OR package wheels. And Entertainment Package [DVD player] w/ Rockford Fosgate. Not sure if it helps or not, but thats what mine's got.

First store "Nice truck! That must be new" actually it's a 2004 " NO WAY..i thought it was a 2008 i feel stupid now"

Second store "nice new truck" ..actually it's a 2004..."really?...you could have fooled me"

I like that the changes have been subtle !!

I get compliments on my 04 too...or some say, "..... and a NEW TRUCK," Sorry...It's not new, it's an 04.

Re: Nissan Titan History (Model Year Changes)

x2 for plummer. I'm new to the forums and I was also wondering what the DIFFERENCES between the 2008, and 2008.5 models were. I just bought a brand new '08 Titan CC Pro-4x, and was curious if my truck is considered a 2008, or a 2008.5. The manufacturing date says 09/07. Any helpful information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Nissan Titan History (Model Year Changes)

I would imagine both posts concerning 08 or 08.5, that they are both 2008's by the build date. Usually when a manufacturer throws out a .5 model they were built in that specific year.

Question Re: Nissan Titan History (Model Year Changes)

What year did they come out with a long bed, and is it an option or standard?

2008 saw the addition of the Long Wheel Base. When buying a new Titan you have the option of either the LWB or SWB to go with your option of CC or KC. Then you get to add all the real options. The KC bed has always been a little longer than the CC bed because they both have the same wheel base length.

Is anybody going to update this? Having a timless "sticky" thats 3+ years out of date is silly.
