remote start question

I want to have a remote start installed on my 07 LE. My dealer does not install them and just told me to go to reputable aftermarket place. Does anyone have any experience with any national chaines that would install a remote start CORRECTLY? What brands did you use? Thanks. I did do a search with little valuable information.

Re: remote start question

I had Viper remote starts in both of my Dodge pickups. Spend the extra $$$ and get one that is two way you won't regret it!

This URL will take you to the equivalent to what I had. They have more options like security alarms and such but I didn't really care about that.

Viper 160XVL Venom SST 1-Way Remote Start System

I had mine installed by a local car stereo shop in Delaware. They did a good job both times.

Re: remote start question

Don't go to a chain store like circuit city or best buy.
Find a reputable audio store in your area. DEI make good stuffs.

Re: remote start question

I have a remote start from a company called "automate" It is made by Viper for half the price, from what I was told. I paid 200 bucks, and they put the auto window roll down feature put in too. My wife has the same one in her FJ Cruiser. I would buy it again in a second. I looked in the yellow pages and found a small business that tints windows and many other things.
