Treating leather seats is EZ

I had been dreading it but I know it has to be done.... It's actually really easy... I had some leather cleaner/conditioner from a couch I just bought. You sponge on the cleaner and let it dry.... then wipe on some cream about 15 minutes later. Make sure and hit your arm rest and anywhere else on your seat where your skin touches a lot... the oils from your skin really hurt the leather over time....

So, if you have been putting it off, let me be your inspiration.... I am the world's biggest procrastinator with stuff like this and I did it in about 20 mintues... it makes a huge difference... the seats feel better than new!

Unlike the mid 90s Maximas, Titans come with some cheap-azz leather (Nissan hasn't used decent leather since). That was a major reason I opted for a loaded up SE instead. With that said, what brand did you use? MOTHERS makes an excellent cleaner and separate conditioner that will help soften that hard-as-nails stuff Nissan calls leather. I've used it on many vehicles in the past with great results....including our 05 Quest (which has the Rouge leather....a better quality leather than the standard pattern leather they use).

I got the leather in the Mada. Glad I did. The cloth is a nightmare to clean, tears easy, and wears fast. Most mada owners with cloth are trying to swap within a year or put Wet Okale seat covers on.

As for care, as long as you don't get them exposed to anything crazy, just an occasional wipe with a Meguiars leather wipe will do. Crazy for example would be jumping in a seat right after being in salt water. I do this all the time because of the jet ski. When I do this, I wipe with a wet clean cloth with fresh water, let dry, then meguiars. Soap and water like simple green takes out suntan lotion. Everything else I've hit comes off with a wipe.

I've got the Katzkin leather seats on my mind for a winter mod I think I'm gonna go ahead and do it. It doesn't cost too much more than the Wet Okole covers...

Another good company. I don't know the difference in quality, but I've heard good things about both.

I just looked at the bottle and all it says is 'Leather Master' by 'LA Z BOY'

I knew this leather was nothing great... I stuck my head inside a friend's Infiniti QX SUV, so at least I know Nissan is aware of what good leather is... they just opted not to not let us have it.... gotta cut costs somewhere and honestly, I am okay with this one. I'd rather have the cheapo leather with a nice stereo, fast engine and nice tranny than give up any of those others...
